Last-Minute Printing

Printing took all day, and into the night. First, I added code so that svg exports could be made to any painting of my choosing with the press of a button. I collected interesting paintings for about an hour, then went ahead with printing them. The printing itself didn't actually take that long, but setting up these sensitive little printers was gruesome and time-consuming. THANK GOD I found an extra plotter printer in the design lab and they let me continue using it after-hours.

The Exhibiton

The big day went well! Setting up was a painstaking hours-long process of measuring, sticking painter's tape around the dimensions of each print, and then carefully sticking the prints to the wall. The result was well-worth the time. Luke DuBois came by and gave his blessing to my L-system project. My friends showed up and supported my work, we took photos together, chatted with other artists in the show, and I came home with 10 beautiful pieces!
